A new energy coming to the Earth

In my interview on Pod3.tv, I mention that I am writing a novel on cosmology, evolution and consciousness.

While researching the novel, I found an amazing number of references to events that may transpire in 2012. In amongst all the tales of Armageddon and Apocalypse, there seem to be some common threads that a global change is about to occur which is not all doom and gloom.

It seems we are approaching a tipping point in our collective consciousness fueled by a increasing understanding of our world. In contrast and parallel, there is overuse of natural resources and increasing imbalance between rich and poor - not just in the Third World.

As a result, something is likely to go into tilt - but it could tilt in a good way.

The worlds of the quantum physicist and the spiritually inclined seem to be harmonising in the shape a Grand Unified Theory. Both parties though aren't totally aware of what they have uncovered and don't necessarily share each others' views.

100 Years of Ermintrude - raised over £1900 for Walk the Walk in 2007

From a combination of viewings of the video on Pod3.tv, downloads of the MP3 and the PDF ebook - AND the author Tom Evans walking 26 miles in a bra - this meditative poetic story, 100 Years of Ermintrude, has raised over £1900 for the Walk the Walk charity for breast cancer care. This is on top of the £2000 it raised in 2006.

Tom has now written two sequels to the original story called 25 Years of Tristan and 65 Years of Lucy and the trilogy is now available in print.

"Ermintrude reminded me a great deal of my mother and me. Tristan reminded me of my brother. I’m sure this trilogy will pull on the heart strings of many as well as tap into memories. Poignant, strong, emotive and tender."

"Stop, look and listen. Read, learn and inwardly digest. I’m touched and delighted. I’m quiet."

Unleashing the book inside you

When I wrote 100 Years of Ermintrude - which you can watch on Pod3.tv here, the words just flew out of my brain on to the keyboard.

I was so fascinated by the process of what had happened that I started to research the whole field of consciousness and creativity. I learned that the creative right hemisphere of the brain needs to get the logical left hemisphere out of the way before it can be unleashed.

Like a devil on your shoulder (and it's always the left), the left hemisphere tells you things like "Don't be stupid, nobody will read your book, you're not good enough" or "You don't have time to write a book".
