Situated near modern Milton Keynes, Westbury Farm Studios is a haunted, Jacobean farmhouse that’s been converted into a multiple residency artists’ studio. We meet the artists who show case some of their work.

Mary Barnes describes herself as a traditional painter who came to the Studios for a month... and has been there for the last 10 years!

Sally Annett - a mixed media artist takes us through a massive wall painting which is based on the correlation between our genetic structure and the numbers we use in our key religious systems.

Sally also works with Rowena Shepherd in the area of symbolism, one example of which is to use Tarot cards to explore how strong images are in how we interpret our lives.

Anabelle Shelton works with paint on smoothly finished metal - to get the paint to stay she had to devise a special process. Her pictures involve people, crowds of people, scattered throughout a landscape but with the landscape removed.

Tony Bates is a sculptor who likes to work with light and the reflections and diffractions of light.

Lesley Bonner takes us through some of her pieces that reuse found objects. Barbed wire, rusty hinges, molten plastic and even spiders webs all all used. And there’s a regular appearance of a female figure throughout her work.
