AWARD HISTORY
In the world of business, The Veuve Clicquot Award is regarded as the 'Oscar' for women entrepreneurs and those working in the corporate world in the UK and throughout the world. Highly prized and sought after, it is the first and original international Award created specially to recognise the contribution that women have made to business life.

Now in its 35th year and held in 17 other countries, The Award celebrates the memory of Madame Clicquot herself, a formidable and successful 19th century businesswoman, who made the great champagne house what it is today.

Her audacity, bravery and creativity are celebrated each year and reflected in the light of the achievements of the winner and finalists. In turn, they present excellent role models for young women aspiring to their place in the business world.
